A rare opportunity to study repertoire and interpretation with a jazz singer noted for her unique and dramatic approach to the art of jazz singing.  This will be the only opportunity in 2010 to spend time with her and for her to share some of her experiences over the last 25 years of performing in a wide variety of venues, clubs and bars. Gill has had a number of long term residencies in restaurants and clubs over the years and has learned how to adapt her shows and repertoire to each situation.  Gill studied under Mark Murphy and Sheila Jordan for much of her professional life, and has worked shoulder to shoulder with many of our leading vocalists working today.

Gill is on Linn Records and is performing extensively in London and in the UK.  She is in concert with Ian Shaw at the Purcell Room on the 28th April.
